The 'Cresto' cress from the Kiepenkerl Profi-Line range is the successor to 'Cressida' and can be sown during frost-free periods. It grows in open beds, in greenhouses, in pots, containers, and balcony boxes. Its taste is intensely aromatic and pungent. Cress has a high vitamin content, making it a sought-after crop even in winter. It is an excellent addition to numerous salads or cottage cheese dishes. However, it can also be simply placed fresh on bread. The plants thrive in the sun and partial shade on any well-drained and loose garden soil. You can harvest the first leaves just 5 to 10 days after sowing.
